Twenty-six economic development prospects from across the U.S. were hosted by members of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable during the 6th Oklahoma Invitational golf tourney held this fall.

The biennial event included business networking events with Governor Brad Henry, Commerce Secretary Natalie Shirley and top Oklahoma executives, plus championship golf at Oak Tree in Edmond and Southern Hills in Tulsa.

Oklahoman T. Boone Pickens, Chairman of BP Capital and Tom Kivisto, CEO of Tulsa-based SemGroup discussed global business issues and described Oklahomas key expansion and location benefits with the guest executives.

The Invitational is a unique event, providing a relaxed atmosphere for serious business discussions and a friendly and competitive golf tournament at two of the nations premier golf courses, said Don Paulsen, President of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable.
