WELCOME TO THE TABLE - New Members

BRONCO DRILLING CO., INC. OKC. Bronco Drilling started in 2001 and provides contract land drilling and workover services to oil and natural gas exploration and production companies. Starting with one rig, they now have 56 land drilling rigs and 59 workover rigs primarily used for natural gas reserves. They operate in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico Colorado, Utah and Kansas. Frank Harrison is their CEO.

CARTER & BURGESS, OKC. Carter & Burgess was started in 1997 and is 70 professionals strong. Their multi-discipline office consists of land development, construction management services, transportation design, laboratory testing and national transaction services. C & B's strengths are in the engineering side, but they also have architectural expertise as well. Larry Patrick is their Manager.

CLAIMETRICS MANAGEMENT LLC, Tulsa. Claimetrics, founded in 2004, is in the next generation of insurance claims management. They represent the first company dedicated to radically changing the culture, philosophy and strategy of claims management. We have created an entirely new approach to workers compensation, liability and employee absence to help clients reduce total claims costs. Their Oklahoma City office employs 74 and Marshall Snipes is their CEO.

PENNINGTON ALLEN CAPITAL PARTNERS, Tulsa. Pennington Allen is a private investment firm that provides private investments of transformation capital and strategic and operational expertise to our business partners. Their targeted industries include manufacturing, distribution, technology, media and services businesses. Their headquarters are in Tulsa with offices in Dallas and Shanghai. Lane Pennigton is their CEO.

PRATT & WHITNEY, OKC. Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Company, is a world leader in aerospace propulsion with a full range of products and services from general aviation, business jets and helicopters to high-performance space propulsion systems and commercial and military power plants. They have 100 employees in OKC that provide support for P&W military engines such as the F100, F119, F117 and TF 33. Sam Anderson is their Site Manager.

LT GOVERNOR'S TURKEY HUNT

Lt. Governor Jari Askins welcomed the group at this year's Turkey Hunt luncheon which was held April 9 at the Oklahoma History Center. The hunters are then transported to the five communities involved which are Alva, Hugo, Duncan, Okemah and Woodward. The primary purpose of the Turkey Hunt is economic development and the targeted participants are site consultants and/or senior company executives who may be planning re-locations.

GOVERNOR'S CUP COMPETITION

The Roundtable is sponsoring a reception for the competition at 5 pm on Friday, April 11 at the Presbyterian Health Foundation, where the winner of the Roundtable $5000 scholarship will be announced. All Roundtable members are invited to attend.

On Thursday, April 24 at 6 pm, the Governor's Cup Awards Dinner will be held at the Bricktown Events Center. Some 600 participants and others interested will attend the dinner. All Roundtable members are also invited to attend, but we do need names of those individuals by Wednesday, April 16.

REAL ESTATE MARKETS

Expansion Management Magazine recently completed a survey on United States cities that represented the top 20 Real Estate Markets in 2007. Oklahoma City ranked 4th in that survey after Columbia, SC; Grand Rapids, MI and Greenville, SC.
